I really like how this one came out. I went in expecting another waste of a few hours. Sketch came out decent. Then I ended up with this. Still needs a clean up on my lines. I feel as if some lines are un-needed some are too bold! And I don't know how i feel about the roses yet.

They were throw together roses. In the final line art I took them out, because I just felt so cluttered with how they flowed with the tiger. Drawing traditional roses is pretty easy. Never had someone ask me to make a tutorial, but I'll look into it. See if I can find a way to teach someone else how I draw my traditional roses. :D

For me Wes, and i still have a SHITLOAD to learn, i learned to find the rose by drawing the SHIT out of em. I mean NOTHING but drawing roses, roses, roses all day every day.... ...was a lot like learning to ride a bike...then one day...CLICK...the layers and folds made sense; i see u working thru that, here. ...and shit, man, MORE than often i STILL gutta get my training wheels out and slap 'em back on...there's a reason why they are at the heart of TATTOO. keep 'em comin!!! ROAR

Yeah, well I'm a bit rusty today. I've had artist block for almost a week. It sucked. Everything i drew looked like crap. So, I used a familiar rose. The traditional rose you see in a lot of traditional tattoos and sailor tattoos. It's not agreeing with the tiger. I think i need to practice with something more... new school and try that. See if it pops with the tiger better. :D I'm hoping the finally version will end up on that flash sheet we talked about before.
