So, I was out and about yesterday. Forgot it was a holiday, so nothing was open. I had 6 hours before I was going to pick up my friend from work and go back to my place. Have a few drinks and play video games. Well, I went down to the old main attraction. Beach Street. It used to be this cool strip of shops and on the other side is really nice scenery And the baseball park. I think they're called the Daytona Cubs. It's a big place. Not the little kid ones. So, I found some awesome chances for photos. I took them. So, then I went over to the beach, right where the boardwalk is. Bad idea. After 30 mins I gave up on trying to find a free/safe place to park. Went back over to main-land(because you have to go over a bridge to get to the beach here. So, then I move on to the next location. Drove around saw a bunch of fire fighters and trucks at the main intersection I was passing. Whipped around parked at the abandoned gas station they had the rescue truck and fire truck at. Took a few pictures without him knowing I was. Then I got brave enough. Pointed at my camera, so he walked over. I asked if I could get a picture. He was really happy and said sure. So I started to ask what type of charity it was. They told me. I don't remember, but it's some type of disorder and they do it every labor day weekend and all money goes to the charity. Well, He asked if I worked for some news company or something. I told him no, I'm just a hobbiest. We chatted. And he was really cool. So, then I go back to my truck. -.- Locked my keys and my cell phone in the truck. One other fire fighter walked over seeing my trying to get my window down because it was cracked open. Told me to hold on, and him and the first guy got the stuff to open the door. Afterwards, and me saying how thankful I am they're around to help me. I asked if I could get a picture of him too. Well, I go to take the picture, and he was like, Wait. Want us to stand by the truck or rescue viechle? So they did. The big rescue truck(looked like the fire version of an evac). And I took a few pictures. Made sure I tried some different settings to make sure I atleast got one good shot. So, that's the best part but not the end. I went to Daytona International Speedway. My friend works for the cleaning service their. So, I got to take some pictures their. Snuck past the open part of the stands, So I could get closer to the cooler parts of the track. Put my cameras up met up with him and this girl he works with. She was a cute girl. And, the only thought that went through my head as them 2 walked up(because it was time from them to leave) was... NO!!!!! I don't have my camera, and she'd be a good model to work with if she doesn't mind. But, their will be other times. She was such a cool person. I'm hoping I make a new friend. So over all awesome day, and some really un-expected things happened. Just figured I'd share this because I thought it was so interesting.
